A delightful self-contained villa experience right on the shores of the Indian Ocean in an area of outstanding natural beauty. South of Tanga in Tanzania along a secluded beach: no beach boys for sure.
The property comes with its own staff: a driver, chef, maids and security. They can serve and prepare all meals and help you buy the ingredients as well as most drinks. Extras such as a masseur, trips to Sand Island and more can be arranged. Rooms are all en-suite. Families are very welcome.

We had the pleasure of a stay at the Sand Warrior beach house in April 2017, thanks to the great hospitality of Mrs Sugden et al...
It was a fabulous visit, and just what the doctor ordered for a restful break away from the hassles of work in the UK
We were met at the airport and transferred down the amazing track from Tanga town, and were instantly transported to another world of tropical white beach bliss when we arrived.
The whole estate oozes peaceful calm and relaxation, with a perfect layout of the guest facilities amongst the swaying palm trees and views out over the wide blue Indian Ocean.
The bedrooms were spacious and immaculate with every need anticipated, and a sense of luxurious privacy with a balcony view.
The garden setting was fantastic and creative for all ages with a swimming pool, stunning planting and seating and separate outdoor dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Within yards was the private beach which revealed all sorts of marine delights and adventures, but mostly peaceful views and joys.
Offshore we had some great days out by boat or jetski to the sandbank in the turquoise ocean for the most unique champagne picnic spot I’ve ever had the delight of!!
The hosts and staff were amazing in their kind generosity, attention to detail and sense of fun.

A GREAT PLACE TO UNWIND!
Having just spent a fabulous Christmas with friends at Sand Warrior I can highly recommend it - 5 * all the way. Every comfort is thought of and the team of well-trained staff keep everything spotless (hard with so much sand around!). Arnold, the chef, serves up one delicious meal after another meeting the local fisherman who bring the biggest prawns I ever saw, along with lobster, tuna and red snapper. A secluded part of the Indian Ocean we loved the fact that we were away from crowds and had the beach to ourselves. Early morning walks with just the crabs for company, hanging out around the shaded pool midday with refreshing Pina Coladas to keep us going and then sundowners sitting in the shade above the beach to catch the breeze looking out over the ocean. A great place to unwind.
